The Capture automates document catching from any type of source such as Fax, Scan or Print in any type of format (TIFF, XML, PDF, IDOC, …). This step is able to split, rotate, improve or convert the documents in order for them to be properly analyzed by the following step
|
The Content Analysis extracts all or part of the information contained by the captured documents. It restitutes these data under the form of an XML structure attached with an image of the document.
The content analysis works on structured document such as static forms or it can intelligently research some fields wherever they are displayed onto the document. This last feature is called DDC and is used mostly to “read” Sales Orders or Invoices.
 |
The Validation is a web-based collaborative workflow allowing End-Users to validate the content of the Document which has been extracted by the previous steps. The validation also allows people to add information that is not displayed on the document such as internal accounting or VAT codes.
With the Validation Service End-Users can improve, approve or reject the data or the documents before being delivered outside the company or into their ERP systems.
|
The Formatting Service can transform any data/document into interactive and professional-looking documents. Application output or incoming raw data can be improved to include text lines, fonts, logos, and bar codes. The formatting service can also be used to convert a data structure (ie. XML) into another proprietary format (ie. IDOC).
This service can also create charts, graphs and sub-calculations directly within the document.

The Delivery service provides a wide and flexible set of delivery mechanisms in order to send the document to the right destination.
Delivery mechanisms include Print, PDF, Fax, Mail Services, email, Web, XML, SMS, and electronic Archive.
